WILMINGTON, Delaware (November 19, 2009) – Best Lawyers has named Richards, Layton & Finger director Donald A. Bussard as the “Wilmington, DE Best Lawyers Corporate Lawyer of the Year” for 2010. After more than a quarter of a century in publication, Best Lawyers is designating “Lawyers of the Year” in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Bussard, the senior member of Richards Layton’s Corporate Transactional Group, advises corporations, boards of directors and board committees in connection with mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, stock issuances, stockholders’ meetings, stockholder relations and corporate governance matters. In addition to being listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 15 years, Bussard has been recognized in Chambers USA, Lawdragon, Who’s Who Legal and Delaware Super Lawyers. He received a JD from Temple University School of Law and a BA from Williams College.
