Christopher M. Samis

Chris Samis focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, restructuring and other insolvency-related matters. An associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Department, he routinely represents both debtors and creditors in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Chris also represents assignees for the benefit of creditors in the Chancery Court of Delaware and drafts substantive nonconsolidation opinions.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a bankruptcy associate at the firm of Claybrook & Associates, supporting Montague S. Claybrook in his role as a panel chapter 7 trustee for the District of Delaware.
