Scott W. Perkins

Scott W. Perkins focuses primarily on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court involving corporate governance, corporate control, contractual disputes and other commercial disputes. He is an associate in the firm's Corporate Department.

Representative Experience

• Assisted in the successful defense of two affiliates of Cerberus Partners, L.P. in a suit to compel specific performance of a merger agreement. United Rentals, Inc. v. RAM Holdings, Inc., 2007 WL 4591849 (Del. Ch. Dec. 21, 2007).
• Assisted in the successful representation of CA, Inc. in the first ever case in which the United States Securities and Exchange Commission utilized its ability (as set forth in the Delaware Constitution) to certify questions of law to the Delaware Supreme Court. CA, Inc. v. AFSCME Employees Pension Plan, No. 329, 2008 (Del. 2008).
