Wayne T. Stanford has served as the firm’s chief operating officer since 1993. He supervises the firm’s operations, including finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, general services, records and conflicts management, library services, marketing, and facilities and office management.
With over 30 years of management experience, Wayne has presided over the firm’s growth from 55 to over 150 attorneys, all at the firm’s office in Wilmington, Delaware. This growth has been accommodated by several expansions at its One Rodney Square location, including a complete reconstruction of the space in 2002.
Prior to his position as COO, Wayne served as the firm’s controller for six years. Before joining the firm, he was the assistant controller for a real estate property management firm and audit manager for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
