Fred Mitsdarfer handles a broad range of transactions on a local, regional, and national scale.
Fred focuses his practice on assisting clients with matters related commercial real estate, including the acquisition, development, subdivision, zoning, assessment, leasing, sale, and finance of commercial properties. He has represented clients in a wide array of transactions, including developers, lenders (both private and governmental), commercial businesses, and other holders of commercial property.
Prior to joining Richards Layton, Fred practiced in the real estate group at an Am Law 50 firm in Wilmington, where he represented a wide variety of clients in commercial real estate transactions, financings, zoning and land use, and real estate litigation. Fred was also a contributor to the Delaware Administrative Law Improvement Task Force.
While in law school, Fred was Villanova’s Patrick J. O’Connor Scholarship recipient, and served as a student attorney in both the Villanova Law School Federal Tax Clinic and the Montgomery County (PA) Public Defenders Office Expungement Clinic. Fred argued in Villanova’s 55th annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition, where his team reached the quarterfinals. He was also awarded Villanova’s Leonard Levin Memorial Award for achieving the highest overall grade in decedents’ estates and trusts.
