Delaware Secretary of State Office Closure: September 3 – September 8

The Office of the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware will close for business at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015, and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

The four-day shutdown will allow the implementation of a major upgrade to the Delaware Division of Corporations’ computer platform, which will enable the State of Delaware and its online registered agents to offer expanded and improved products and services in the future. During the shutdown, no filings can be made and no certificates or documents can be obtained.

The upgrade has been scheduled for a holiday weekend in order to cause the least possible disruption. All filings on Thursday, September 3rd must be received by the Division of Corporations by noon in order to be processed by the 4:30 cut-off time.
