While the volatile credit markets directly impact the number of public companies going private, there continues to be a need by public companies to exit the public arena. Seminar attendees will learn what it takes to get a deal done and what a transaction looks like—from start to finish. By attending this PLI program, attendees will learn the necessary practice tools to do a going-private transaction from a knowledgeable faculty.

Director William Haubert will be on an panel entitled "A Walk-Through—From Start to Finish" which will cover the following:

  • Exploring each stage of a transaction—from the first telephone call to the closing.
  • Dealing with challenging inflection points during the transaction—what advice should you give?
  • Avoiding deal-killing mistakes.
