November 4, 2011

Event

The allegations that Dr. Earl Bradley, a Delaware pediatrician, had engaged in sexual abuse of children over a period of years triggered a complex response by government officials and professionals around the state. The dean of Widener University School of Law, Linda L. Ammons, was commissioned by Governor Jack Markell to investigate the incident and to write a report and recommendations. Dean Ammons will present that report, which will be followed by a full day of panels discussing various aspects of child abuse cases. The program concludes with a roundtable discussion focusing on the legislation that grew out of the dean’s report and recommendations.

Mike Cochran will speak on a panel focused on child advocacy at this program.
