ACMA’s 39th Annual Meeting in Kohler, WI will include interesting and informative CLE programs with topics that are relevant to today’s economic times.
Rob Krapf will speak on a panel entitled “The Real Estate Finance Opinion Report of 2012: Compass on the Road to Consensus in Opinion Practice.” This newly published report updates and expands the 1998 Inclusive Real Estate Secured Transaction Opinion and reflects the current thinking on third-party opinion practice. Attendees will learn about developments in legal opinions since the Inclusive Opinion, use of the Illustrative Opinion Letter as a guideline and an educational tool, and the continuing role of customary practice, as well as issues not covered by the report.
