Intellectual Property – Magistrate Judge Stark Has Been Nominated to Fill the Vacancy on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware

On March 17, 2010, President Obama nominated Magistrate Judge Leonard P. Stark to fill the vacancy created by the elevation of the Honorable Kent A. Jordan to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Magistrate Judge Stark earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.  From 2002 through 2007, Magistrate Judge Stark served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Delaware.  Prior to joining the United States Attorney’s Office, Magistrate Judge Stark was in private practice in Wilmington, Delaware for approximately five years. Since 2007, Magistrate Judge Stark has served as a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
