Judge Paul R. Wallace Appointed to the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court

President Judge Jan Jurden announced the appointment of Judge Paul R. Wallace to the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court. Judge Wallace was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Jack A. Markell effective on January 25, 2013. He received his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. Before being appointed to the bench, Judge Wallace served for more than two decades with Delaware’s Department of Justice handling cases at every level, state and federal, trial and appellate.

The CCLD is a specialized division within the Delaware Superior Court formed in May of 2010 and provides a venue for business and commercial litigants to have access to judges experienced in complex commercial cases. The CCLD handles cases with an amount of $1,000,000 or more in dispute or which involve an exclusive choice of venue agreement. Judge Wallace joins the other members of the CCLD including Judge William C. Carpenter, Jr., Judge Mary M. Johnston and Judge Eric M. Davis.
