Overview
Avery Benesch advises clients on a broad range of matters involving Delaware corporations, including M&A transactions and corporate governance issues.
Avery focuses his practice primarily on corporate and transactional matters involving Delaware corporations and their directors, officers and stockholders, including corporate governance, fiduciary duties, special committee matters, conflict of interest transactions, stockholder meetings, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and dissolutions of Delaware corporations.
Avery clerked for the Honorable Collins J. Seitz, Jr. at the Delaware Supreme Court and interned for the Honorable Kent A. Jordan at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
In law school, Avery was an associate editor for the BYU Law Review. He also competed in the 2020 Transactional LawMeet Competition hosted by Sturm College of Law and the 2021 “The Closer” National Transactional Law Competition hosted by Baylor Law.
