Overview

Randall Ainsworth is a 2025 member of the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and was the inaugural Elijah Cummings Scholar at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. 

Randall focuses his practice primarily on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Supreme Court involving corporate governance, corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, appraisal, fiduciary duties, and other commercial disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Randall worked for two years at McGuireWoods LLP, where he handled complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, and financial services litigation.

While in law school, Randall was an associate editor on the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy. Randall was also a member of the Thurgood Marshall trial team, where he won Best Advocate in the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial National Competition.
