Overview

Spencer Crawford was a lead note and comment editor on the Brigham Young University Law Review.

Spencer focuses his practice primarily on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court. He handles matters involving corporate governance, corporate control, fiduciary duties, mergers and acquisitions, and other contractual and commercial disputes.

During law school, Spencer served as judicial extern to Chief Justice Matthew B. Durrant of the Utah Supreme Court and Chief Judge David C. Nye of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. He also served on the BYU Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he helped small businesses and nonprofit organizations form entities, prepare and execute governance documents, draft privacy policies, and comply with state and federal law.

Spencer received the 2022 J. Reuben Clark Award, given by the faculty to a student who exemplifies academic excellence, integrity, high ethical standards, and service.
