Firm News

WILMINGTON, Delaware – The 2008 edition of Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, published in June, has recognized 23 Richards, Layton & Finger attorneys for excellence in six categories—more attorneys than any other Delaware law firm. In addition, Richards, Layton & Finger received Chambers’ highest firm ranking in Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Chancery, Corporate/M&A and Real Estate, and was also commended in the Intellectual Property category. To compile the rankings for Chambers USA, independent researchers carried out thousands of in-depth interviews with clients and lawyers to assess business lawyers across the country. The lawyers are ranked according to technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial know-how, diligence and other qualities highly valued by clients.

Quoting from interviews with Richards, Layton & Finger’s clients and co-counsel, Chambers USA noted that the firm’s attorneys were “as good as it gets,” displaying “terrific judgment” and an “encyclopedic understanding of the law.” The firm can be counted on to produce “high-quality and reliable work.” R.
