WILMINGTON, Delaware – Robert J. Krapf, a director of Richards, Layton & Finger in Wilmington, Delaware, has been voted president-elect of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). ACMA elected its officers for 2008-2009 at its annual meeting in October. Founded in 1974, ACMA is an organization of in-house and government lawyers, private practitioners and prominent members of the academic community who have substantial experience in real estate mortgage lending and related fields of law.
Krapf is a director in Richards, Layton & Finger’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on a variety of transactional matters in the areas of real estate and land use law. Krapf’s clients include many of the regional and national developers, landlords, banks and other lenders, conservation organizations, institutions, businesses and industries operating in Delaware.
An active member of the state and national bars, Krapf has held leadership positions in numerous professional real estate organizations. He is a published author and frequent speaker on topics of real estate, land use and business law. Krapf is recognized in the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Best Lawyers in America and Delaware Super Lawyers.
