WILMINGTON, Delaware (March 31, 2015) – Richards, Layton & Finger director Sara Toner has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). Fellowship in ACMA is by nomination only, and limited to those attorneys who demonstrate substantial expertise in real estate law as well as active involvement in professional activities and the community at large. Ms. Toner is one of only four Delaware lawyers to be elected a Fellow of ACMA.

Ms. Toner focuses her practice on the acquisition, sale, lease, finance, and development of commercial real estate properties. She represents major real estate developers, significant holders of commercial real estate, and institutional clients in all types of real estate transactions, and also represents clients before zoning boards and planning commissions to obtain development approvals and resolve land use disputes.

Ms. Toner serves as chair of the Title Insurance and Surveys Committee of the Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association. A frequent speaker on matters of real estate law, she is recognized in Chambers USA and as a Delaware Today magazine “Top Lawyer.”
