WILMINGTON, Delaware (July 1, 2021) – Richards, Layton & Finger is pleased to announce that attorney Matthew W. Murphy has been elected as a director of the firm.

Matt focuses his practice on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery involving fiduciary duties, corporate governance and control, contractual issues, and other commercial disputes. He also advises on transactional matters involving Delaware limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations, and special committees. Matt earned a JD, summa cum laude, from Widener University School of Law and a BA from St. Joseph’s University. He clerked for the Honorable Paul R. Wallace in the Delaware Superior Court. This year Matt was named on The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list.
