Richards, Layton & Finger Elects Two New Directors

WILMINGTON, Delaware – Steven J. Fineman and John Mark Zeberkiewicz have been elected directors of Richards, Layton & Finger in Wilmington, Delaware, effective July 1, 2009.

Fineman, a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, represents major companies in intellectual property litigation, contract disputes, product liability and toxic tort defense, civil rights, construction claims and complex commercial litigation in Delaware’s state and federal courts. He earned a JD, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School and a BA from Ursinus College.

Zeberkiewicz practices in the firm’s Corporate Department, focusing on transactional matters involving Delaware corporations, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate finance. Zeberkiewicz has published numerous articles concerning corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions which have appeared in, among other publications, The Business Lawyer, Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, INSIGHTS and Corporate Governance Advisor. He received a JD, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Delaware, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
