Richards Layton’s Randall Ainsworth Chosen Among National Black Lawyers 40 Under 40

WILMINGTON, Delaware (December 18, 2025) – Richards, Layton & Finger associate Randall Ainsworth has been chosen for the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list for the second consecutive year. The National Black Lawyers, a professional association comprised of the nation’s top African American attorneys, selects successful, influential lawyers who demonstrate exceptional legal skill and achievements as well as community leadership for its 40 Under 40 rankings.
Randall focuses his practice on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Supreme Court involving corporate governance, corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, appraisal, fiduciary duties, and other commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Randall worked at McGuireWoods LLP. He earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where, among numerous honors, Randall was the inaugural Elijah Cummings Scholar and won Best Advocate in the Constance Baker-Motley Mock Trial National Competition.
