Two Richards, Layton & Finger Directors Named in The International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers

WILMINGTON, Delaware – Two Richards, Layton & Finger directors, Daniel L. Klein and Robert J. Krapf, have been named in Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers 2008. They are the only real estate lawyers in Delaware to be named to the list. After researching nominations made by lawyers and clients worldwide, Who’s Who Legal editors compile a list of attorneys who are widely considered the top lawyers in the field.
Klein is the chair of Richards, Layton & Finger’s real estate group, specializing in complex business transactions and public/private joint ventures. He is active in the Real Property Section of the Delaware State Bar Association and in the financing and leasing areas of the American Bar Association. Klein is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Anglo-American Real Property Institute, and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Klein is listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers and Delaware Super Lawyers, and he has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since its inception. He has been named in the International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers for several years. Klein earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh.
Krapf, a director in the firm’s real estate group, focuses his practice on a variety of transactional matters in the areas of real estate and land use law. Krapf has held numerous leadership positions in the American and Delaware State Bar Associations. He is also the treasurer of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and chair-emeritus of the Lex Mundi Real Estate Practice Group. Krapf appears in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers, Delaware Super Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America, and he was named one of the “Best Lawyers in Delaware” in Delaware Today magazine. After receiving a BSFS from Georgetown University, Krapf earned an MA from the University of Delaware and a JD from The Delaware Law School of Widener University.
