The Delaware Division of Paid Leave will hold a series of four public information sessions in late September and early October for Delaware employers to learn about two new programs in the state: (1) Delaware’s Paid Family and Medical Leave program, and (2) the Delaware Expanding Access for Retirement and Necessary Saving (EARNS) program, which will provide private-sector employees with access to low-cost retirement savings plans.  The events will be held in person and online.

Delaware Paid Leave goes into full effect on January 1, 2026; however, implementation is being done in stages, with key rollout dates starting as soon as October 1, 2023.  Delaware EARNS is expected to go into effect on January 1, 2025.
