The Delaware Department of Labor has recently updated the labor law poster that employers are required to display. The new poster reflects the recent law that protects employees from discrimination by employers with four or more employees on the basis of their family care responsibilities and reproductive health decisions. 19 Del. C. §711(j)-(k). The new poster also clarifies that employees now have additional time, from 120 to 300 days, to file a charge of discrimination against their employers, in accordance with other newly passed legislation. 19 Del. C. §712(c).

A copy of the revised labor law poster is attached and also can be found HERE. Employers are required to display this official poster in a place that is accessible to employees and in a location they regularly pass.

Employers should take this opportunity to ensure they have the most recent state version posted and that their federal posters are also up to date. If you have any questions, please contact us.
