WILMINGTON, Delaware (September 15, 2025) – Richards, Layton & Finger associate David T. Queroli has been selected to participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) 2025 Next Generation (NEXTGen) Program, held during the NCBJ Conference in Chicago on September 17-20. Hundreds of nominations are submitted annually by law firms, government agencies, and bankruptcy judges across the country for admission to this prestigious program. No more than 40 practitioners are selected—up-and-coming bankruptcy attorneys who have demonstrated excellence in the practice of bankruptcy law; a commitment to civility, ethics, and professionalism; and a commitment to the continued development of bankruptcy professionals and professional activities that will benefit the public, members of the bar, and the courts.
As a NEXTGen participant, Dave will take part in judicial roundtables with national bankruptcy judges and attend high-profile networking receptions and dinners, among other exclusive events. He will also have the opportunity to participate as a panelist with judges and other practitioners at future NCBJ annual meetings.
“We are fortunate to count Dave as a Richards, Layton & Finger attorney,” said Lisa Schmidt, president of the firm. “Dave’s colleagues and clients alike have benefitted from his exceptional skills, hard work, and commitment to the highest standards of both bankruptcy counsel and professional civility. I’m thrilled that the NEXTGen selection committee has recognized Dave’s extraordinary talent as well.”
Focusing his practice on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency matters, Dave represents debtors, prepetition and DIP lenders, purchasers, and other parties in all aspects of chapter 11 cases. He also provides advice and legal opinions as a member of Richards Layton’s non-consolidation opinion team. Dave received a B.A., cum laude, from Ursinus College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served on the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review.
