Richards Layton directors Stephen Bigler, Doneene Damon, Catherine Dearlove, Raymond DiCamillo, Gregory Ladner, and Gregory Varallo will speak at the Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association, held this year in San Francisco August 5 – 10.
Steve Bigler will speak on a panel addressing, “Is Common Stock the Preferred Security? Recent Judicial and Legislative Developments Affecting Preferred Stock.” Doneene Damon, a member of the ABA Business Law Section Council, will be a panelist on “The 1, 2, 3’s of Financial Statements.” Cathy Dearlove will serve as panel chair and Ray DiCamillo will speak on “Balancing Allegiances in the Boardroom: The Problem of Designated Directors.” Greg Ladner will speak on “Erosion of Bankruptcy Remote Structuring by the Courts: What Do the General Growth and Sunwest Decisions Mean for Your Practice?” Greg Varallo will chair a panel addressing “What Happens When the Poison Pill is Actually Used? Selectica and Other Rights Plan Developments,” and will be a panelist on “What Deal Lawyers Should Know About Deal Litigation: Privilege, Process, and Disclosure Landmines.”
